Should my oscar eat freeze dried bloodworms?

Thanks for the replies. He seems to like the nls better anyway.. I will just give him these sparingly until they're gone.
How do I make sure the nitrogen cycle is preserved? Yes, the tank comes with 2 rena 300 cannisters.
I saw your post previously re: nls and I'm a believer too. I don't know if cons just grow really quickly or if it's the nls.. I've seen a very noticable difference in size in about a week! They were tiny when fiance picked them up at lfs

Just dont over feed because they are susceptible to hole in the head which is from over eating

HITH is a parasitical disease in angelfish and discus. Large cichlids like oscars are susceptible to Head and Lateral Line Erosion, HLLE from poor water conditions or poor diet.

I'd also stay well away from rosy reds, as they are generally filthy or diseased.
