I found a baggie of raw shrimp in my freezer that I was saving for a fishless cycle, and I'm not going to use it. I think my mbunas would love it as a treat. Thoughts?

Just be careful not to feed it too often, as Mbuna do not tolerate lots of protein well. I don't think they would have a problem with a very small amount as an infrequent treat, though.

It turns out it was a bad idea lol, I cut it pretty fine, and put it in, my male jewel dashes at it and scoops every piece up. He inhaled it like his life depended on it! I was pretty sure he was gonna choke, but he's alive and well. Just has a massive belly. Fasting today for sure!

Luckily it was a very small amount
