sick oscar

I just got this guy from pet smart on Saturday and he looked alright when I bought him. When I put him in the tank he got discolored and has been acting very weird ever since. The discoloring has gotten a lot worse and he doesn't look like he's doing well at all. The parameters are fine. What is this?

It looks to me like he doesn't like something in the tank. Mine even at 8 inches gets that color like that and will just lay on his side then go out and become a cribs again after an hour.

I don't know from what I see it doesn't look sick?

Except for the very last pic something looks strand there but I don't know what it is.

There's a possibility you purchased a sick fish and now he's swimming in your tank.

You could try taking the fish back for an exchange or credit. Might have to bring in a sample of tank water (w/test results for their convenience).

Would certainly be nice to identify the problem so you can deal with your tank.

I'm pretty sure Petsmart has a fish return policy and would likely give you a store credit or exchange. Chances are if you take water in they probably won't test it but if you don't they will ask for it.
