I have a 40 gallon breeder with 11 yellow labs in it. All of them are about a year old. To contrast the yellow, I wanted to add a single mbuna of a different color. Can anyone throw me some suggestions on what could work?? I'm not looking for chaos so if it's not a good idea I'd like to hear that too. I can take the hard news and am perfectly fine keeping my tank as is. Thanks all.

Can the cobalt or the elongatus be kept as a single male without to many issues or am I running the risk of bringing in a murderer... :)

I have done it with a socofoli as well. IMO most everything will leave a yellow lab alone. Don't know why. They aren't aggressive.

Thanks! I found a Cobalt at my lfs so i have him in a separate tank that I will keep him in for about a month till I add him in with the Labs. Want to make sure he's healthy......this is my first go round with cichlids so I appreciate the help!!
