Slightly new to cichlids

K so I'm brand new to this site so let's get the noobiee shouting done and over with. I have had 6 yellow labs in a 50 gallon tank they are small yet largest is just under 3 ". A larger tank is in the works looking for a 75g. How ever this is not why I am here asking for help I had noticed that one of my females was pregnant so I had flashed up a tank with 2/3 of them water from the cichlid tank and transferred her over by herself she made her self at home and had her fry quite successfully I now have about a dozen young in this separate tank now I am wondering for large the fry should be before I put them back in with the rest of my yellow labs.

You can put them in with the larger ones when they're too big to be eaten, at least 1".

Agree. And take mum out of the fry-tank or she might turn on them
