Not sure but I would try some nerites as they have pretty hard shells and stay small so they don't obstruct things. They also don't lay eggs above the tank like mysteries do.
Sounds good. Make sure they are alive/moving slowly when you get them. DOA snails suck... Also my LFS has 4 varieties so if you have that many, I would get them all. Tigers are my favorite and they tend to look pretty cool.
Mine love to attack snails. If they break shell they do eat the snails. But I've been breeding pond snails for a year now just for a tasty snack for them so maybe mine just gt used to it that way..
