South American cichlid ?

I have a 40g bow front with a bichir a leaf fish and 2 pitcus catfish? I want a nice South American cichlid to put in there if I could. Any suggestions

what kind of bichir? and is the leaf fish a ctenopoma or an abbreviata?

Finally it's a dwarf albino bichir and it's a leopard ctenopoma

what kind of size are you looking for? there are plenty of beautiful apistogrammas that get 3-5 inches. i wouldn't do a firemouth, the leopard ctenopoma is too peaceful, to combine the two.
