A couple of my fish have recently gotten these black spots on them. One has died. 2 of them now have them but seem fine and healthy. Does anybody know what this is or if its normal?

Sorry pics are a little blurry. I have had them for some time now and my parameters are all good. I just don't know if this is normal or a disease. Thanks!

What are you feeding? Some say its caused by getting an excessive amounts of spirulina. I'm not sure if that's true or not. Some of my fish had them when young and I was feeding a store brand cichlid pellet. Then I switched to hikari and it got better bit I'm not sure if it was that or they grew out of the spots.
