People do it all the time. I have never done it but the people on frontosa.com talk about. Calvus are some really cool looking fish. they are fry eaters so don't get them if you plan to breed.

Just make sure your calvus or Compressiceps are large before you add the fronts. They take about 4 years to reach adult size
