Tank Temp for Malawi Cichlids

What is the recommended temperature to keep a tank of Malawi Cichlids at?

I have my Malawi tank at 78 but 72f-82 is where they can live. Most people recommend 78-80 or 76-80.

Heard if you turn it up to much they get more aggressive. So I stick with 78f.

78-80 f. Personally they seem less happy the colder it is. Its the case with my Africans and with the community tank.
