I have a 125g with a full grown 13.5" Pterygoplichthys Pardalis (Common Pleco), and I've just added 10 Devario Malabaricus (Giant Danios) and 1 Juvenile 2-3" Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. I had 1 Pimelodus Brochii (4 Lined Pictus), but he bailed out of the tank yesterday. 
I was going to add more for his sake, but now I am looking for a bottom dweller shoal. I had also been looking into a school of Rainbowfish, but my LFS wants $20 a piece. Any recommendations? They need to be big/fast enough that a 10" JD can't eat them.
