Ten gallin cichlids

Hi. I have a ten gallon aquarium and I was wondering if I could have cichlids in there. If so what kind?

i would go with a dwarf gourami. they are very beautiful fish. i have 7 in my 45 gal. i would go with a male but in a ten gallon you could only have that one fish. i would also use live plants and maybe a few shrimp. here's a care guide on the dwarf gourami. good luck.
