My Oscar decided that i wasnt feeding him enough last night by attempting to eat my GT that is one inch bigger than him, i guess this really speaks for their appetite... Caught him in the act fortunitly removed the gt and put into my convict tank (5 1 1/2 in convicts) and turned the filter off because of the amount of damage to the tail, he seems to be doing ok he ate when i feed him last night, wondering if i should add a little salt but it might stress his open wounds more but idk, i probably will.brought the temp back up to 80 anything else i can do? convicts arnt bothering him besides the occasional little territory flashing of fins and puffed up gills but nothing of any substance.

Salt is only going to help against disease. Add some stress zyme and turn the filter back on.

and i think at this point he is to weak for me to turn the filter on i have an airstone going, but i also read that the salt can have bad effects on serious wounds. but i will give it a try,
