Your inbox is full... I can post a pix of the black blasting sand when the lights come on. Just got home from out of town and dont wanna wake the pigs... I have some before and after pix in my photo album. I got mine for like 4$ on sale at tractor supply but think reg price is 7-8$ for 50#. I'm really happy with it and have had zero prob. Fish seem to be happy they dig in it just fine and water is always clear and param are fine with it.

I don't see why not... I didn't plan in changing my substrate if I got discus... It would really make their color stand out.

But I'm going to put a hold on the discus & just make it a bichir planted tank
Once I find the sand I'm going to get on it
