I have a yellow lab and blue cobalt both holding eggs right now in my 75 gallon tank. They have had fry befor. I have 12 lab fry and one blue fry in my ten gallon right now they are a little over a inch long. Can I put both mothers in that ten gallon at the same time?!? Also will the fry attempt to eat the newborns?????? HELP

Hey Tyler. Wish I could help but I have no idea. However could you advise me...I have an yellow electric with visible fry in her mouth. We have separated her within the tank. How long does will she hold the little guys before spitting. And from there what are your suggestions if any. Thanks for your help and sorry I couldn't be of any

After @ three weeks the fry will hatch in the mothers mouth and will swim out by themselves. If the mother senses danger she will pick the fry back up in her mouth until its safe (so I've heard, never seen). But the fry will swim out on their own
