LOL - keep in mind that cichlid is a very large family of fish, and with all the varieties that are out there, you can find a variety that is suitable for that tank. It just might take a little looking. I've got a 30 gallon tank (3') right now that is planted and holds a school of Congo tetras, Synodontis catfish, and a pair of common Kribs. It is a very nice combination. I've also got a heavily planted 30 gallon with a pair of Pelvicchromis taeniatus that is very nice as well. Eventually I'll be moving the P. taeniatus to a 40B (also a 3' tank). Some of the Apistogramma varieties might fit that tank as well. Rams in a community tank would also be a nice combination.

If its 165 litre its 15 litres smaller than my smallest tank. My stock is;

1 Angel
1 Discus
2 Keyhole
6 Bentosi tetras
4 swordtails
2 gw panchax
5 platinum hatchets
1 leopard frog pleco
2 Hopolocats

And they get along famously. They have plenty of room and i overfilter. 180 litre is prob the bare min for a discus though.
