What do bolivian rams eat?

I have a pair that I just got. The guy said they might be a pair. But they aren't eating anything. I've tried flakes and pellets and bloodworms. There is a lot of competition for food, but I don't think that's the issue

They are still acclimating to the new tank. They will eat cichlid pellets, flakes, anything. Cichlid pellets are best. Go get either hikari or new life spectrum cichlid pellets

Took my blue rams a couple days to get comfy and eat. Now they come right up front. I find if I put food in and turn room light off with the tank light on that they eat more when I'm not standing right in front

anything really. but if you want to kick start the feeding, live food is the best option. daphnia, brine shrimps, blackworms, etc.
