What is the smallest Chichlid breed?

I am very interested in this breed but since I've never ever had an aquarium (only ponds) I'm going to go with 3 rosy reds and see how that goes before I decide to get a Chichlid! But I'm keeping the info that you all have given me for the future! I appreciate ya'll's time! Oops I said y'all again...sorry I'm from south Texas!

Just so you know, the word you want is "cichlid." You are adding an extra h. It is pronounced like SICK-lid. Just letting you know to make sure your searches come out correctly.
If you want to go the cichlid route, it sounds like you have some good help being offered.
Make sure to thoroughly research fish before purchase to make sure you are picking something that is suitable for your tank.
