Ok here's the sitch:

I bought 3 Chiwindi about 5 week ago. They are growing fast and stand at about 1"

In my show tank I have a mix of peacocks, haps, and 2 Mbuna, ranging from 2" to 6" (mostly juveniles, a handful of adults (2-3 years old)

The chiwindi are in my hospital/receiving tank.

My thoughts are, it might be better to add them sooner while everyone else is still growing as well, even though they are still quite small. If I wait for them to grow to 2-3" then everyone else might be up to 4" + by then.
I know it's better to add fish as Juvi's so they tolerate each other better, my fear is them getting tore up, or worse eaten.
I have plenty of caves and hiding spots.

Advice?

I bought three in case I did lose one or two, but i don't know the sex, I suspect 2 m 1 f but at this point I could be wrong.

My show tank is all male.

I had 5+ inch african cichlids when I added my 2.5 inch fry. I'd say wait a bit longer and watch how they grow. If they can't fit in their mouth they should ignore them.
