Okay guys, I have a 10 gallon brevis tank with 4 brevis, I had 1 big one and 3 little ones, while I was gone on spring break I had a friend feed my fish 2 times a day. I come back home and my brevis had fry, counted around 10ish, and my big fish was dead, I'll post pics of the body. Warning, NSFW

At this stage, it would be impossible to tell. Most fish will take a nibble on a dead fish (even "strictly" vegetarian species).

Would you have thought that the aggression from breeding could've caused one of the fish to kill it?

Possibly, but without actually witnessing the event, there really is no way to tell. Frustrating, I know.
