I added a filter sponge that I cut into the filter to catch old food and stuff.

And I cut out a small out of the back of the filter cover. So I can have the heater in.

Astrina snails are great, a couple of hermit crabs, and some nassarius snails.

have you been checking salinity daily? just curious how much it swings.

What an accomplishment this will be if you can pull it off Your ammonia seemed super high so adding anything live wouldn't do too well. CUC can be hardy, but not tough enough to endure 4 ppm.

I forgot to tell you guys the testing results.
The Ammonia is at .25ppm

It evaporates vary quickly. I have to add water to it every morning and night.

I can't tell you exactly how much it swings because I have a crappy hydrometer.

I'm going to get a refractometer when I go to the store next week

Sorry guys for not posting anything for awhile.

But I did get my cleaner crew.

Two snails and one hermit crab and I put a top on; to slow down the evaporation.
