29G biocube stock ideas!!!

Im starting a 29 gallon saltwater biocube and I want stock ideas! its probably going to be a reef but I dont mind doing a FOWLR. Anyways what are some cool livestock I should look into?

Do you like clowns? A par of them would be a good starting point if you like them.

I have a linear blenny, apairoftrue percula clowns,two clown gobies (yellow and green), a tailspot goby and a mandarin in my biocube 29g. Any of those fish would be fine with the exception of the mandarin, very tough fish to feed. I've had mine for a couple years and all the fish are going to go back into my 60g rimless shortly, but I consider for the time being as my tank is stocked fully. No room for anything else. Depending on each fish you choose you can have a bunch or just a couple so pick wisely.

Yea, Mandarins im aware of and yes there might be a clown pair.

I would not do the pipefish, puffer, any damsel, filefish, hawkfish, Catalina goby or clingfish. Any of the others should be fine. Just pick 4-5

Really...I thought the same thing but I like the pipefish.

Pipes require slower current and live food. Usually only meant for a species only tank. Kinda same requirements as seahorses

Yeah lol and gets a little big for a 29 IMO.

I'd pass on all dottybacks as well. I had one in my 29g cube and he killed a fish and almost another one. :-( They can be nasty little buggers. lol
