Found some kind of caterpillar looking like worm thing digging around in the sand. Doesn't look like a bristle worm or anything with spikes off it's sides, but very caterpillar like.

Oh geez! I could get 2 acan frags roughly the same size and a mushroom for $70. I was planning on buying the acan sometime but he offered it as a trade with a peppermint shrimp for my skunk cleaner. So no complaining there
