Bio cube 14 live rock amount?

Hi all,
I am not exactly sure if I have the correct amount of LR for my cube, the three medium pieces I did purchase put me to about 8 to 10 lbs give or take I have 10 lbs of live sand and into my third week of cycling ( no bio balls ) using in tank media basket with floss and CPE for the cycle process..I understand the rule is 1.5 lbs of LR per gallon but will I be okay if I am a little under?
Any advice for this newbie would be great.....thanks!

You can have less then 1 lb per gallon but you wouldn't be able to sustain the same bio load as if you would have 1.5-2 lbs per gallon
