So i bought the oceanic biocube hudrometer that u leave in the tank with suction cups on the glass.. Anyone own this product. I cant seem to get it to funtion correctly

Most hydrometers don't function correctly... at least, not accurately. I'd spend the $30 on a refractometer and get more accurate and consistent readings.

I had a bio hydrometer. Its worthless. Refractometer is the best way to go.

Spent 7 bucks on it yesterday... Its terrible. My instant ocean hydrometer is pretty decent but i thought the bio one would be nicer.... What exactly is a refractometer? Pics?

My hydrometer read 1.024 which was right where i wanted but when my LFS tested it with a refractometer it was 1.027. A refractometer will be my next purchase, we'll worth the $30.
