Bleaching corals.

Is it normal after installing a media rack in an established tank to experience some bleaching. I've lost my Pom Pom Xenia corals also. If this is not normal what do I do. Frequent water changes? I've got a biocube 14.

Telling us some more about the tank may help some folks diagnose your problem.

Nitrate?
Phosphate?
pH?
Temp?
SG?
Ca?
Alk?
Mg?

Flow?
Lighting (schedule and type)?

I am not sure why a media rack install would lead to bleaching. It doesn't seem like it should be connected.
