Brown hair algae

I have what looks like brown hair algae growing on my snails. It's not growing anywhere else but on them. Should I do anything or just let them be? Sorry about picture quality.

I use to have the same problem on my hermits. I took them out and scrubbed it quickly with a new toothbrush under some tank water. It solved my problem. Im ocd like that lol
