Chaeto harvest?

Hi. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
Question: Do you have to harvest chaeto macro from the refugium if they get too densed? Usually, how often do you do that? Thanks.

Yeppers. If you keep it thinned out it will prevent the chaeto from dying from lack of light. This can usually be done monthly or so. It really depends on how much space you have in your refugium
