Copper band butterfly

Would lovvvve a copper band butterfly but i only have a 12 gallon nanoreef with an emerald crab some polyps, hermits, a percula clown and a long finned fairy wrasse. I feel the copperband would be pushing it quite a bit.. What do you guys think?

You are already pushing it with the wrasse... No butterfly.

The current stock is pushing it... a lot
The copperband requires a MUCH larger tank
Bad idea IMHO

Sun corals are nice looking, but honestly it really is a pain to feed all the time. I've had mine for about 1 1/2 years now, and am wishing I has never bought it.

How often do you feed it? Thought they were photosynthetic?

No, Sun coral ( Tubastrea ), are non-photosynthetic. They need to be fed...often.
I feed mine Mysis and Cyclopeze every other day. Ironic that it's called a sun coral huh? I think it's called that because of the look of the individual polyps, when fully opened.

I'd say more like 75+, but that is just my opinion. They need a lot of rock work to pick through. They are indeed difficult to feed and have no place whatsoever in a nano tank. Glad to hear you have reconsidered.
