Hello everyone!! I'm new at this i started a nano reef! About a month ago i have 2 true percula clowns some corals and 3 cleaning shrimps the fire red shrimp, coral banded shrimp an a cleaner! You might ask why so many shrimps well is this bad or good?? My reef is a 10 gl. And i decided to add this shrimps for the reason i had "Bristle worms" and now they are almost gone i saw my shrimp eat them! So im really happy with them!!

2 Q!! I recently saw a baby starfish i did a research on them! I heard that chocolate chip starfish are NOT reef safe so i want to know if this is a reef safe starfish. Heres the pic

Can someone recognize this starfish?

That could b to many for a 10 gallon. That starfish could b a chocolate chip starfish? Google that name and compare

Those are astrea starfish. I have read many things on if they are good or bad. There have been some accounts of them eating coral...but I have no experience with that. All I know is that most of the time people are pleased to have the white ones like you have there.

Oh on thanks men !! By any chance so u know about anemones i just got one its a bubble tip anemone and i release it in my tank about 1 hr later it realese aome white stuff!! Do u know whats going on?

They are asternia starfish. I have many in my tank. I`ve never had any issues with them in the 14+ yrs I`ve has them. All I ever see them do is get on the glass and eat trash off it.
