How to start?

Any good articles on how to start a fair sized nano of about 10 gallons?

Cycling is pretty much the same as any other SW tank. Your biggest challenges will be stocking and lighting (depending on what you want to keep)

here's something people dont often share. Get RO water and never use tap water. If you use tap water you will inadvertantly add phosphates to your tank. Phosphates = algae and can mess with corals too.

You should really use RO/DI water. It's reverse osmosis deionized water. If you have a good unit, it should be close to 100% pure water. Basically, this unit removes heavy metals, and other sediment and chemicals out of the water. Think of one of those PUR water filters, but much better....ahhh, refreshing clean water.
