Hey,

Just got this picotope 2 days ago, I bought 7.7 lbs of seachem's pearl beach substrate, 2 lbs of Walt Smith reef rock 2.1, and 1 lb of real reef live rock. Hopefully I'll be upgrading the lighting and filtration soon (filtration being more important).

I'm planning on getting at least 3 pom pom crabs, some specific zoanthids (blue tubbs, midas, candy apple), a small (like REALLY small) fungia, and, if my lighting situation gets an upgrade, various SPS (red planet acro, tri color valida, bonsai acro, red dragon acro, montipora setosa, and montipora capricornis).

What do you guys think?

I also have a 3 gallon pico-tope and I just added another filter of the same type as comes with it.Got it for like 10 bucks from Drs Foster and Smith.Put it on the opposite side which gives me good cross flow .
You my want to rethink the Pom pom's ,problem is keeping the little anemones alive if not a well established system.I keep sexy shrimp and a blue coral banded shrimp instead.

Rock work looks good.

Thanks Rick, also, I got upgraded LED (13 watt 12000 Kelvins, and 456 nm) lighting, and a Finnex Hang on back refugium.
