Hey guys I have a 20 gallon long tank and I am starting a reef. I am having difficulty picking a light keep in mind I want something powerful enough for coral growth but not crazy expensive seeing as I am in college :) please help with any suggestions thank you!

That'd be the chinese knockoff panel you can get off ebay and amazon. 3 watt LED panel that covers 2 ft of tank. Intense enough to keep anything you want photosynthetically. I'd suggest a unit you can dim so you don't have to hang it high off the tank.

Also what kind of corals would be the easiest to maintain for a beginner. I do have 7 fish tanks but they are all fresh water so going into salt water is a challenge that is also very exciting

Spend the money and get a Kessil a360we have had one on a 20 long and couldn't imagine having a better light
