I just opened a 20 Gallon Long tank , I was thinking of getting a Coralife
65 watt pc bulb or do I need more light , I wanted to put some coral in , is it enough lights? Thanks in advanced

thanks for the link but can I get away with the 65 watt?

here is a list of some corals I would like to add
1 Starburst Green
2 Xenia
3 Colt coral
4 Button polyps
5 mushrooms

possibly plate coral or brain coral

can 65 watts do some of those?

I see by your other thread you have a 20g long tank. One 96w PC might be more suited for you tank, and still on the inexpensive side.

they make 30'' 96 watts? I've been searching for them like crazy , at my lfs, online everywhere but no luck, if you find one please post a link
Thanks

You're right, my bad. I was thinking a 20L was 36", not 30". There's still different options out there. I'd personally go with 2x65 so you wont have to upgrade later on if you choose to keep something that demands a little more light. I'm not saying you can keep SPS or a Crocea clam in 2x65, but almost anything else. Good luck with whatever you choose.

thanks, im goin to go with the 2x 65 just to stay safe down the road if I end up wanting those light demanding corals . Thanks :D
