im also keeping a close eye on my readings.

i just ordered a 70watt metal halide pendant but i dont know how long it will take to get here.

LOVE the rescape. the first pic is button polyps, looks likes cinnamon.

all the others but the last look like zoas, geez how much did you spend? frags around where i am are like $20 a piece and you look like you got several

well i just got an email today that they dont have the light fixture anymore so what a bummer but i went and pick up a few pc ballast to replace my broken one and it works now...

and about the frags depending on the time i get it for cheap like if i buy it from the lfs and they still have a lot i get it for 5 bucks per frag and i also buy from a local reefer for about 5 bucks a frag to depending on what it is

but i got a few new frags ill get picture later

im starting to get a good amount of some brown hairy algae im hoping its not gonna last long.

i dont have any i dont like snails or hermits they knock things over too much but im looking into a lawnmower blenny or something like that to munch on the algae

a clean up crew would be good, just dont get turbo snails cause their bulldozers lol. they will help with the diatoms and stuff you have after the cycle, maybe some nassarius snails and plain blue leg hermits for it. they may tample some stuff, but itll be okay.

you could always glue your frags to your rocks

yeah i might go pick up a few snails this week then see how they work but heres pictures of the new frags all polyps are out and they look happy but will see how it goes.

sorry about the bad pictures my camera just not that great and i dont have money to buy a new one.

ok so i really need a cuc diatoms are coming in fast and im seeing some brown hair algae so thursday when i get paid im getting a few snails, but all my sps are extending nicely and mt zoas are all open the only thing i dont really see is my fish

i went with a yellow watchman goby.
Well here's what's happening i will be relocating the tank it wasn't gonna happen until maybe a few weeks from now but this morning my float switch malfunction and dumped 2 gallons of fresh water into my tank then when i got home as i was putting my baby to sleep, the hose from the returned pump popped off and and water was getting drained onto the floor and since the mag 5 was pointing up a spit out a good amount of water on the floor too, lucky i was near enough to shut off all the power for my tank fast enough, so today i will be moving the tank and tomorrow when i get home from work. Hopefully everything turns out good.

hopefully! sorry to hear about the bad news. hopefully the goby will survive the major salinity change

but on another note a yellow watchman you shouldnt be surprised if youre not seeing him, some are super friendly and others are hermits. but if hes new he's just getting used to his new surroundings

yeah the watchman made it and so did all my corals, all the corals seem to be doing the same

after much debating with the lady i have convinced here to let the tank stay where it sits i told her i would put a lot of stress on the fish and corals and it could cause them to die so she said okay then since I use so much i can leave it there. So yeah im happy i dont have to take it down and put it back up but i went and pick up about ten snails to help with the algae.
