The sand sifting star will not do good in a tank that size. They usually end up starving to death even in big tanks. They consume the fauna in a tank pretty quickly. They will start off good in a mature sand bed but usually end up dying off in less than a year.

Thanks Melosu :). will skip over them and go with the serpent star instead. By the time it gets bigger I will have my larger tank ready to put him in.
