hey guys, so i was thinking about starting a 10g nano tank. i was wondering the best way to start cycling it? Aside from that i already have a filter, heater, and light. Is there anything else i need besides live sand and live rock? i know you can cycle with the rock and sand, how long would that take aproximately? Thanks for the help :)

you will need a source of ammonia which can be either pure ammonia or just a shrimp from the grocery store. the cycle process will take about 4-6 weeks sometimes sooner you will need a saltwater test kit to test your levels and a hydrometer to test your salt level you will need salt mix and reverse osmosis distilled water

You can prib get ten gallons from and already established tank from the pet store for really cheap or free
