Anyone how much would be too much in regard to flow rate in my tank.

Currently got the standard 2 that come with it, looking to upgrade 1 now. Would 1400 lph be too much?

Thanks

With a reef tank you should be shooting for 10x to 40x the tank volume in flow per hour. This will depend on the corals you want but in a tank that small I probably wouldn't go above 20x volume per hour which is 1880lph

I have 45x turnover in my 20 high and see no ill effects, I just put low flow corals towards the bottom. All of them are happy an growing and my fish love the current. But yeah I'd say 20-30x turnover for a reef unless you want a full blown sps tank.
