10$ 10mushrooms

A local shop is going to sell me 10 mushrooms for 10 dollars because they don't specialize in sw, and they aren't in the best condition. Should i get emm?

I would. Even if just one makes a full recovery that's a good deal. An ugly frag with just 1 mushroom on it around here goes for $20

Mushrooms are easy to keep. Don't require a lot of light either. That's a great deal!!

1.021 I would suggest keeping it a bit higher than that but mushrooms aren't too picky. I had some growing in my rubble rock that had no light on it for nearly 2 years...they are pretty tough.

assuming you mean .021 and .018, those are both too low. I would shoot for 1.026.

I keep my tanks at 1.024 and 1.025

I've always felt 1.026 is to close towards the high side .

You want to shoot for a 1.024-1.026..... but raise it slowly over a few water changes. Don't try to do it all at once

Just keep an eye on everything.... likely you'll be OK, but a large change in salinity can be a shock.
