Out of curiosity, has anyone bred seahorses in captivity?

Yes its quite common. Dwarfs will breed with practically no effort to the owner. H. Erectus have benthic fry, which means they will hitch at birth and are considered one of the easier large breeds, H. Reidi have pelagic fry, who dont hitch at birth and are considered one of the harder breeds. They are the most common in the home aquarium.
