10k, 13k, 14k, or 20k that is the question...

Your refering to MH lighting I suppose. Thats the only bulb that i know that has a 20K.

I have used all three kinds. I would definitely recommend either the 14 or the 20. With either of these you will not need extra actinic lighting. The 14 are not as blue as the 20's but they are much prettier than the 10's. I use the 20's now and love them.

I use 14k CV 250 w/ VHO actinics- it looks good w/ just the MH, but looks alot better w/ VHO's on also. HTH Be sure to check out Fishfreeks link, it's very helpful.
