150 watt metal halide ???

would this be enough for a 30 gallon tank to keep clams and other high light corals ???

150w MH should be fine for a tank that size. What K bulb are you going to use?

well i'm looking to buy it of another person so i am not sure what they have i would assume 10k isnt that the usual ? if not i will still by the hood and just replace the buld

10K will show a lot of yellow if used by itself. I would get a 14K or 20K so it will look pleasing to the eye as well. Just MO.

ya a 150 watt hqi work great on 30 gal. i just put one on mine. it is a 20k with a 28 watt pc 03.

A 46 gal bow front (Soft coral) reef tank with a 10 gal sump. And a 30 gal (SPS and Clam) reef tank hooked up to the sump of the 46 so they share water.
