I've decided to get into the saltwater aquarium hobby, and while I understand pretty much all the basics, I'm having trouble figuring out lighting.

I plan to stock it with LPS and softies.
I would also prefer not to spend an insane amount of money. (Anywhere less than $500 would be in my budget range)
