Haha. No just general dust floating around. It's creating a film over the top of the water (some DOCs there too - how do I get rid of these in this situation? No skimmer room or anything.) and it looks pretty trashy.

I guess you need more surface aggitation, or faster turnover of your water.

I added another PH today, it pushes water straight up to the surface, causing a large bump. It's doing a good job of getting rid of the crud. Still gonna do my acrylic though. Also picked up my clam today. Pics when it's happy enough to be fully open.

Aussie Company called Aquathrive. The exact page for it has been removed cause I got the last one but it's the same as this one: aquarium plant light, Progrow 1200 6T5 HO series by aquathrive Aquathrive Online Store
But only 2ft in length.

you can do 3 things about the crud that im aware of.

1 is get a surface skimmer. they are small and would work.
2 if to get a cup and just kinda take it out during water changes.
3 get a couple paper towels and gently put in on the crude but not into the water.

2 and 3 arent great but will work. 1 is good choice and usually not expensive. about 20-25 dollars.

pfft he is already in australia. they have gators there which are awesome. plus they have that little reef over there and the women are hotter at the beaches there. and they have a cool accent. so no on #4 =)

Haha touche. I got my SPS frag pack this morning also. Was walking out the door to catch my bus. Couldn't put it in myself. I was tempted to miss my bus. Any way SPS photos and FTS when I get home this arvo.
