23.8G Renovation/Upgrade

Hey guys. Today I got a new light unit. It's awesome. It's a 2ft unit with 6 T5HO's. It came with 4 10,000K bulbs and 2 blue/white. It's phase one in my renovation.
I'm intending too:
- Put the new lights on, replacing the hood.
- Plumb a small, cheap acrylic tank in my stand to the DT to hold my carbon etc and add volume.
- Re-aquascape to buy clams and SPS.

OK change in plan.
No more tiny sump in the cabinent. After talking to my LFS guy I've realised that it's nigh impossible to match two pumps and eventually one (either in the DT or sump) would suck dry. Not good. I've got enough LR for bio-filtration regardless though.
So now it's just replacing the hood and fixing up my powerheads. I bought a new PH today and placed an awesome clam on hold. It's about 4-5cm long (2 inches) and has green rings on a purple mantle. It's being picked up in a weeks time, as I need to acclimatise my current corals to the new lights.

Harmy: It's a ProGro 2ft.
Kev: Each bulb is 24W so a total of 144W.

10 minutes of terror cause I heard several sharp clicks rapidly and thought I had a Mantis: Priceless.

So yeah total of only $235.
I just bought a $49 SPS frag pack online also and have a $80-100 clam on hold.
