I like the hole. I make them in my rock for frag plugs with a diamond boring bit. Pretty neat.

Thanks Hank. Good idea about drilling the rock to put in the frag plugs. Do you use that bit in a regular drill?

Yes I do. It is just a small 12 volt battery powered one.

First testing shows spike may be on downward slope.

Ammonia = .25
Nitrate = 5.0
Nitrite = .25
P.H. = 8.0
K.H. = 9 = 161.1
Calcium = 27 = 540
Phosphate = .25
Salinity = 1.024

My tank is finished cycling finally. I will do a water change later today and add the sand and order my clean up crew. Here are my test results.
Ammonia = 0
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
Ph = 8.2
Kh = 9 = 161.1
Calcium = 480
Phosphate = 0
Salinity = 1.22
Once i do the water change the salinity should be 1.24
