Well today i undertook the moving of my tank on its new stand and decided to put in my room and move my piranha tank to the loft of my duplex and i thought i would just share some new pics of the tank and stand and if ud like you can compare them with the ones 2 posts below :) ..... also i know the coralife skimmer is big and i didnt know that when i bought it along with the whole setup 4 months ago but its brand new and i hope to turn it on tom for the first time and i have no idea how to use a skimmer .... so any advice in that area would be nice ... and the reason i didnt use it before was stupid me forgot to leave enough room behind the tank on the old stand .... so here are the new pics .... enjoy

That's looking fantastic, Ray!

Since you're still playing, how about if you move the roundish rock in the center up and over to the left to hide the powerhead? That way you'd have one mound of rock on either end, and a dip with open space in the middle. Maybe also shift the whole right side a bit more to the right? You might hide a little more equipment. That's what I'd try!

Pretty corals, BTW! Love those bright orange zoos!

I would move that round one but it has the amazing looking neon green candy cane attached to it and i kind of want it to be able to be seen easily .... and thats for the imput guys keep it coming ... anyone have experience with this skimmer? .... coralife 65
TIA

I have the skimmer as you and am in the same boat in terms of equipment. You just have to play around with the water level on the skimmer so that you dont flood the skimmer cup. It took a little while for me to get the equipment right with the water level and not getting any bubbles in the tank. I have a 29 gallon as well and the skimmer takes up so much room. Maybe you should consider building a sump for it, thats what im doing. So far the tank looks really good.........
