So at this point this tank is not drilled, has no overflow, and no sump.....I think I am going to drill the other 40g I have sitting around and putting a sump with this tank. I already have everything for one

Got my glass cutting drill bits last night. Going to practice on one of my 10g I've got sitting around

10 gals break easy compared to larger tanks. Not sure if they are tempered or if it's just the thin glass used on them. I want to say it's real thin.

So knock on wood sump is working perfectly and I am already seeing a dissipation of algae in the display and all coral and fish are super happy and fat. Got an order of pods coming in tomorrow to put in this tank and the 15

Found out the fun way last night that I have something putting out electricity in the tank. Thinking it's the new power head or heater I just put in

So it ended up being my power strip. Changed that out and everythings been good since. Here's a couple pics

Lost all my fish but one earlier this week. My skimmer went out and threw all params out of whack. Woke up monday to a graveyard of a tank. Lost all but my green spotted puffer

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure you'll be back up and running before no time.

Aww man so sorry to hear this. It's crazy how so much can happen in such little time. Do you have any plans? New skimmer or maybe fix old or...? How is everything else in the tank besides fish?

Fixed the skimmer that day. Been doing water changes every other day. Lost my blue sympodium but everything else seems fine

Tank seems to be getting back to normal. Magnesium is still a little low but I'll check tomorrow after I do a water change tonight

So im moving soon and thinking about drilling this tank and setting up another 40 breeder as the sump set up a few inches lower than the display. Just trying to figure out the best way to make it work. Any ideas?

Check out 80/20 stands. I've never don't one, but it allows for maximum sump room. Seems slot of people are using this aluminum cornering.
