Agree with Paul here...sounds like Magnesium is outta whack. Stop dosing Alk and Calcium, and get a magnesium test kit (Salifert is your only real option) and post those test results.
 
Thanks. I'll do a water change. I see a lot of white powedery stuff on the rocks, I assume that's calcium precipitating. It looks real hard to get rid off.
