Been awhile... Tank is still cooking along. Getting some nice growth out of my Birds of Paradise frag though!

I have a 90 gal with 2 mp10's, in mixed reef. They are well worth it, am considering to get one more. in your case 2 mp40 on your 75 would be a bit too much, but always remember this: when you want to upgrade to a 125gal or higher you will already have the mp40. Besides you can always turn the mp40 down a bit.

good luck

A quick update to my 75g. Everything is cooking along and growing nicely. No recent additions, but with MACNA right around the corner, who knows what I may come up with.

Although I don't have any new additions, I figured I'd post some overhead shots.

Wow those are really nice close up shots. What is that dark blue fish?

That's a starry blenny. I have both magenta and blue for light supplementation, so it makes black fish look as if they have a blue hue.

Been a long time since I updated this thread, so here we go!

The system has changed quite a bit since my last update. I have since switched over to Kessil lighting from the original ecoxotic setup I originally had. I went from two 24" panorama pro fixtures to four Kessil a360we's. I have to say, I am in love with the Kessils so far! They've been on the tank since around February, and the ability to change my lighting spectrum and tweak it here and there, have really turned this tank into a growth monster.

Next up was adding a doser to the system in order to improve stability, and this has only added to the positive results I've seen from the corals since the turn of the year. I went with he Bubble Magus 3 pump doser and I've been extremely happy with it so far!

I then decided to add an Apex controller to the system. I know, what's the point in adding an independent doser and an apex? At the time I added the doser, Apex Fusion was just a thought, and I wasn't ready to move into an Apex until Fusion became a reality.

Lastly, I re-aquascaped the middle of the tank. I got rid of the middle piece of rock which always just seemed odd to me. I got rid of that, added 2 or 3 pieces of rock and viola... I found the aquascape that I wanted!

Alright, enough with the rambling, on to the pics! Let me know what you guys think!

That's an awesome tank...I spent the better part of an hour reading your entire thread. I really like the tank and stand, I'm eventually wanting to upgrade from my 29g cube to a rimless. Who's the manufacture of the tank and stand?

It's a Deep Blue Edge 75 with a Deep Blue series 1 stand. Honestly, I don't recommend the stand at all. It has a huge center brace in the front which really makes it inconvenient for maintenance. I say spend a little extra and find a local cabinet maker to build something to fit your needs.

Figured I'd post up a few more pics of some new additions and a few other things.
